Oriel documentation
Oriel is a Shopify theme for stores that sell a focused range of carefully made products. This guide explains how to set up the theme and what each setting and section does.
Before you edit code or install apps that change theme files, duplicate your theme in Online Store > Themes > … > Duplicate so you can always go back.
Set up your store
- In Shopify admin, go to Online Store > Themes and add Oriel from the Shopify Theme Store.
- Click Customize to open the theme editor.
- Set up your menus in Content > Menus. The header uses your Main menu and the footer uses your Footer menu by default. Menus can have up to three levels: nested links open in dropdowns on desktop and in the mobile menu.
- Add your logo in the Header section, your favicon in Theme settings > Favicon, and links to your accounts in Theme settings > Social media.
- Replace the placeholder images and text in each section of the home page.
