Header and footer

The announcement bar, header and footer appear on every page. Edit them in the theme editor's sidebar, above and below the page sections.

Announcement bar#

Add up to eight Announcement blocks, each with text and an optional link.

Use scrolling announcements: announcements scroll across the top of the page. Scrolling pauses when a customer hovers over or focuses it, and doesn't run for visitors who prefer reduced motion. Turn it off to show announcements side by side.
Scroll speed: the time for one full loop. On wide screens, announcements repeat so the bar is always full.

Logo image and Logo width. Without a logo, the header shows your store name. Wide, tall and square logos all work: tall logos are limited in height so the header stays compact.
Logo position: Center or Left.

Menu: the menu shown in the header. Links with nested links open a dropdown.
Customer account menu: links shown in the account window, such as orders and profile.
Popular searches: comma-separated search terms shown as shortcuts in the search window.
Show labels next to icons: shows "Search", "Account" and "Bag" next to the icons on larger screens.
Use sticky header: keeps the header at the top while customers scroll.

Mobile menu: optionally a different, shorter menu for phones.
Show numbers: numbers the top-level links.
Show bottom navigation on phones: a bar at the bottom of the screen with Home, Shop, Search, Account and Bag. Shop opens the mobile menu, and Bag shows the number of items in the cart. On product pages and the cart page, the add to cart and checkout bars take its place while they're shown. With the bar on, the account icon moves from the header to the bar on phones, which leaves room to center the logo.

Add Text blocks for a short brand line and Menu blocks for link columns.

Show large wordmark and Wordmark text: a large line of text across the footer, your store name by default.
Show country/region selector and Show language selector: appear when you sell in more than one country or language. See Languages and markets.
Show social media icons, Show Follow on Shop, Show policy links and Show payment icons in the bottom bar.
Note: a short line of text in the bottom bar, for example your company details.

Follow on Shop only shows when Shop Pay is turned on for your store.
