Collection pages#

A collection page has two sections: Collection banner and Product grid.

• Collection banner shows the collection title, and optionally its image (Show collection image, Image height), description and product count. Edit the image and description in Products > Collections.
• Product grid sets Products per page, Columns on desktop, Columns on mobile and the product card options: Image ratio, Show second image on hover, Show add to cart button and Show product type badge.

Filters and sorting#

Turn on Show filters and Show sorting in the Product grid section. Choose which filters appear in the Shopify Search & Discovery app: availability, price, product type, vendor, tags, variant options and metafields. Color filters show swatches.

• On larger screens, filters open as dropdowns above the products. On phones, they open in a drawer with a button that shows the number of results.
• Results update without reloading the page, and the address keeps the selected filters, so customers can share or bookmark them and use the back button.
• Selected filters appear as chips that customers can remove one by one, or all at once.

Collections list page#

The /collections page lists all your collections as tiles, with optional numbers.

Search#

The search window opens from the search icon in the header. With Show search suggestions on, it shows products, collections, pages and articles as customers type, with the matching words highlighted. Customers can move through suggestions with the arrow keys and press Enter to open one.

The search results page can show Popular searches, and has the same filters and sorting as collection pages.
